ASEAN-Japan Academic Forum 2013
May 2013 Tokyo, Japan
Call for Papers
The ASEAN-Japan Academic Forum aims at providing a platform to promote young ASEAN researchers in Japan, as well as Japanese researchers doing research related to the 10 ASEAN countries. The Forum also hopes to create further opportunities for greater cooperation between ASEAN and Japanese researchers, through the sharing of knowledge and expertise. Organised by the ASEAN Youth Network in Japan (AYNJ), this project aspires to advance research in ASEAN, and the furtherance of ASEAN young researchers themselves.
Last year, young researchers from Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, Singapore, and Cambodia shared their research in the fields of information technology, medicine, disaster prevention, environment, and rural development to fellow ASEAN students as well as Japanese young researchers. Diverse the topics might be, the different fields and perspectives found their point of convergence during the joint discussion on the issues of development and its sustainability in ASEAN.
This year, we are welcoming once again students from ASEAN countries and Japan※ who are interested in sharing their knowledge on topics that include, but are not limited to the following:
Arts and Humanities (History, Linguistics, Literature, Philosophy)
