World Vision International – Vietnam (WVV) invites Vietnamese competent candidates for the following position: DEVELOPMENT FACILITATOR (1 position) working for the Area Development Program (ADP) located in Cam Thuy District, Thanh Hoa Province.
Area Development Program (ADP) is an approach to child focused development, emphasizing the process of community participation, sustainability, and integrating activities in the areas of food security, agriculture, micro-enterprise, health, nutrition, education, water, and sanitation.
Main Responsibilities:
The Development Facilitator will serve as a catalyst, partnership broker, and builder of the capacity of local partners, facilitating the development process toward the improved and sustained well-being of children within their families and community, especially the most vulnerable children.
Requirements:
– University graduate in education, public health, community development, social work and/or business administration.
– Experience in program implementation and participatory approach.
– Fair English skills.
– Strong interpersonal skills and well-developed written and oral communications skills in Vietnamese.
– At least 2 years relevant or community development working experience.
– Good computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email.
– Work full-time at the project site at district level.
– Commitment to work with and learn from poor people, especially children.
