Education for Nature-Vietnam (ENV) was established in 2000 as Vietnam’s first non-governmental organization focused on conservation of nature and the environment. Their mission is to foster greater understanding amongst the Vietnamese public about environmental issues of local, national and global significance, ranging from protection of wildlife and natural ecosystems to climate change. ENV is looking for a qualified candidate for the position of International Communication Officer who is responsible for coordinating international responses in consultation with the direct manager & ENV Management Board.
Main responsibilities:
– Coordinating international responses
– Liaise with different international organizations
– Design and participate in wildlife trade surveys, campaigns, and other activities
– Ensure ongoing & smoothly communication with Wildlife Crimes Unit (WCU) Manager for reporting new developments, redefine objectives and response methods
– Other assignments from WCU Manager and ENV Management Board
– More details on the job will be discussed during the interview
Requirements:
– Vietnamese, 24 years old & above
– University degree is required
– Excellent English and Vietnamese (both verbal and written)
– Strong organization and management skills are required for the middle-senior level
– Strong communication and presentation skills
– Strong critical thinking
– Capable, dependable, confident, and high responsibility.
– Ability to work under high pressure and meet deadlines, willingness to travel
