KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency)hiện đang hợp tác với đại học Hàn Quốc cấp học bổng cho các sinh viên đến từ các nước đang phát triển tham gia chương trình đào tạo thạc sỹ chuyên ngành Phát triển Quốc tế.
Mục tiêu của chương trình là đào tạo nguồn nhân lực nhằm hỗ trợ phát triển kinh tế – xã hội tại các quốc gia đang phát triển, đồng thời đào tạo các chuyên gia trong lĩnh vực Trao đổi thương mại và Phát triển quốc tế đáp ứng yêu cầu hiện có tại các quốc gia nói trên.

KOICA invites Scholarship Applications from Developing Countries’ Candidates to pursue Masters in International Development in Korea
Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in partnership with Korea University is inviting high-caliber students from developing countries for the scholarships to pursue Master’s Degree Program in International Development that is aimed at nurturing talented students helping them gain professional and systematic knowledge that will play a key role in their home country’s development.
KOICA Scholarship Program is fully committed to the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and is determined to expand its efforts to nurture future talents from developing countries to promote their countries’ sustainable economic growth and social development. From 1997 to 2009, the program has assisted a total of 771 students through 42 courses. In addition, as of 2010, 220 awardees are currently participating in the program at 10 different universities.
Objectives of the Scholarship Program
To develop human resources that will contribute to the socio-economic advancement of developing countries
To train experts (in the fields of International Development and Trade) needed by the developing countries
About the Program
The master’s degree program will be conducted at the Graduate School of International Studies at the Korea University from February 16, 2011 to February 28,2012 (13 months). Medium of instruction is English. There are 20 scholarship positions available for the program under this call for applications. The scholarship covers full tuition fee, monthly stipend, and roundtrip airfare.
Eligibility
Government officials or researchers working in their home country with a Bachelor’s Degree or higher, and who should:
Be under the age of 40
Be nominated by their Government
Have sufficient command of spoken and written English;
Be in good health, both physically and mentally, to undergo the course;
Not have had experience in any of KOICA’s training courses within the past three years in the same field.
