Accountant
The Centre for Community Socio-Economic and environmental Development (CSEED) is a Vietnamese NGO established in January 2006 under the decision of Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA).

Full time Accountant position. The Accountant reporting to the Finance Manager will be based in CSEED office located in Hanoi and with 20% of his/her working time travel to project sites.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
– process payment for CSEED staff, partner and other concerned parties in compliance with CSEED procedures
– prepare journal entries, make accurate and appropriate recording of income and expenses
– maintain financial records in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
– prepare monthly, quarterly and year end financial statements
– assist in budgets and forecasts
– account/bank reconciliations
– assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process
– assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures
– assist and monitor project finance management at project partner level
– develop and maintain financial data bases
Education and Experience
– university degree in accounting
– knowledge of accepted accounting and auditing principles and practices
– knowledge of finance principles
– knowledge of financial reporting
– technical accounting skills
– at least 3 years experience of general accounting. NGO experience will be an advantage
– proficiency in relevant accounting software
