The current programme focuses on the following core sectors: Health and Nutrition; HIV/AIDS prevention; Care and support; Education; Child protection; Child-focused emergency preparedness and response; Child rights agenda, including Civil society development, Economic opportunities, Child poverty Research, and Advocacy for child-friendly development policy and practice.
1. Short-term Project Assistant
Based in Hanoi
They are looking for a Vietnamese national for the position of Short-Term Project Assistant to join Education team. The successful candidate will be based in Hanoi with frequent travels to provinces.
Main Responsibilities
The Short-term Project Assistant is to support the effective implementation of the quality preschool and primary education for disadvantaged children especially ethnic minority children in selected districts in Dien Bien, Yen Bai and Quang Tri provinces. He/she will contribute to ensure effective project implementation and achieving project objectives in close coordination with partners by conducting periodical monitoring partners’ activities and collecting data in project site for reporting on the progress. He/she also assists partners in preparing quarterly and annual narrative and financial reports. .
Key Competencies:
– University degree or equivalent in education, social sciences or other relevant field, or substantial field experiences.
– Demonstrated skills in supporting project implementation within an NGO or donor context
– One to two years working experience in education project implementation
– Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively.
– Ability to work well independently and within a team to support organising and coordinating complex activities within interrelated schedules.
– Computer literacy. Good English and Vietnamese written and oral communication skills.
– Commitment to Convention of the Right of the Child.
2. Administration Intern
Based in Hanoi
They are looking for a Vietnamese national for the position of Admin Intern to join operation team. The successful candidate will be based in Hanoi.
Main Responsibilities
This position is responsible to assist in regular country program administration activities; be responsible for reception of the office. Admin Intern will work closely with other admin team members to make sure operation functions of Hanoi Office go smoothly and efficiently.
Person specification:
– Fluency in English and Vietnamese essential
– Good skills in translating and interpreting
– Experienced as a secretary or junior administrative assistant be preferred
– Computer literacy.
