EMW cần tuyển tình nguyện viên thiết kế, biên tập phim và truyền thông cho chiến dịch Life is Beautiful tại Đà Nẵng. Thông tin chi tiết như sau:
The Life Is Beautiful (LIB) campaign is an international humanitarian campaign that aims to raise awareness and funds for impoverished people with disability in Vietnam. The campaign was launched in December 2009 by East Meets West Foundation (EMW) in partnership with Vietnam Television (VTV) and Vietnam Red Cross.
LIB is seeking for the following volunteer positions that will support its promotional and fundraising activities:
1. Designing volunteer:
Main responsibilities: Design of communications and publicity materials to support the campaign’s promotion including:
– Backdrops, banners, posters
– Brochures, leaflets, catalogues
– Presentation templates, slideshow
– Website layout
– Flash banners (if possible)
Competences:
– Experience in graphic design
– Be proficient in some of the following softwares: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe in Design, Macromedia Flash or other similar softwares
– High sense of art and creativity
– Ability to work in team and independently
Working hour: This position can work from home but the availability to work at office in certain mornings/afternoons is preferable.
2. Film editing volunteer:
Main responsibilities:
– Film and produce video clips that feature the campaign’s events, beneficiary stories and commercials/advertisements that will be broadcast on its website and promotional events.
– Edit available raw footage into final products
Competences:
– Be able to film and produce finished products proactively
– Be proficient in popular film editing softwares
– High sense of art and creativity
– Ability to work in team and independently
Working hour: As the filming projects are usually ad-hoc, working schedule is agreed by two parties. The position may be sometimes requested to travel to project sites/other provinces for filming.
3. Communications Volunteer
Main responsibilities: This position will be focused on supporting the promotion and fundraising of Life Is Beautiful (LIB) campaign through social media networks:
– Manage the campaign’s social media accounts (facebook, myspace, digg, flikr, youtube, etc).
– Widen and maintain the online community to support the campaign in these social media accounts
– Develop content (blog/stories/news) to update these social media accounts
– Organize online activities to draw attentions of target audience to the LIB website
– Initiate approaches and support the communications team in planning and execution of LIB’s social media activities.
Competences:
– Being creative and proactive
– Be familiar with social media channels
– Good at English writing skills and creative in initiating promotional content
– Ability to work in team and independently
Working hour: This position can work from home but the availability to work at office in certain mornings/afternoons is preferable.
