Position: Project Coordinator
Job description:
The project coordinator will assist the project manager by doing daily project monitoring and status reporting. He or she will maintain the project plan, ensure all project participants document their time weekly, track all expenses incurred by the project and its participants, prepare periodic reports on activity progress and financial status, and elevate any issues that require decisions. The project coordinator is expected to spend much of their time with the chief scientist and staff understanding the research trials and outcomes, and identifying situations of potential risk to scientific success or project progress. The project coordinator’s role is to understand the whole project and how each activity and research trial affects the overall plan.
Desired straits:
Strong science background in biology, microbiology, biochemistry and/or aquaculture. Have experience in management and work planning. Minimum bachelor degree, foreign education an advantage. Strong organization skills. Respectful personality unafraid to challenge other views. Fluent in English.
