The project aims at providing opportunities to develop the female garment workers (FGW) life skills, who produce Gap products in Vina-Korea factory in Vinh Phuc province and Hansoll-Vina factory in Binh Duong province through improving their communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Assist Project Managers to:
- Facilitate the development and implementation of work plans
- Contribute to the development of training curriculum, training materials and training agenda;
- Conduct regular monitoring activities via telephone, email and field visits to ensure the quality of work undertaken by the project partners in each project sites;
- Collect, analyze and manage information to develop progress reports on project activities in the agreed formats
- Carry out all day-to-day project financial and administrative work including travel plans and procedures
- Keep weekly contact and maintain good working relations with the staff of Hansoll-Vina factory in Binh Duong province;
- Prepare draft TOR for consultants when necessary;
- Represent CARE with government and non-government organizations, donors and relevant individuals and organizations when authorised by Senior Managers and supervisor
- Demonstrated commitment to gender equity and diversity
- Promote a safe and secure work environment; foster a safety and security culture; and ensure consistent application of, and compliance with, CARE Vietnam safety and security policies and procedures

Selection Criteria
- Bachelor Degree in Social Sciences, Public Health, Administration, Laws, Arts, and other equivalences
- At least 1 year working experience as a trainer on life skills for adults, young people, women, or girls
- Good interpersonal communication, training and facilitation skills
- Ability to work effectively as a team member and with minimal supervision
- Good computer skills on Word, Excel, PowerPoint and e-mail applications

The project objective is “to reduce stigma and discrimination towards people living with HIV (PLHIV) and orphan and vulnerable children (OVC) to encourage their access to health and education services and improve quality of their life” in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The Project Officer is responsible to assist the Project Manager to carry out the project activities, small grant management and administrative work, and support the project partner – Hanoi Preventive HIV/AIDS Center.
