World Vision Vietnam (WVV) invites competent Vietnamese candidates for the position: National Coordinator ? Health. Based in Hanoi.
Main Responsibilities: To assist the Programs Quality & Development Director in reviewing the national health/ HIV strategies, providing technical advice concerning health component to all Area Development Programs and special funded health projects throughout Vietnam, ensuring the quality of health programs, writing proposals and capacity building.
Requirements:
Strong health/public health background.
Experience implementing programs addressing IMCI, Nutrition, HIV/AIDS, and PLWHA.
Experience developing strategic approaches to address health needs in developing countries.
Experience in management, monitoring and evaluating projects; ensuring that recommendations are implemented. Preparation of evaluation documents suitable for external dissemination
Project design and proposal writing experience for government funded grants such as AusAID, USAID, DFID etc.
Experience networking with a range of donors, multi- lateral, and government bodies.
Ability to mentor & motivate staff and partners.
Well-developed writing and oral communications skills in both English and Vietnamese.
Good computer skills (word processing, excel).
World Vision Vietnam is a Christian non-government organization.
