The Centre for Marinelife Conservation and Community Development (MCD) is looking for the highly qualified and experienced national candidates for the position of Research Assistant.
MCD will conduct a situational analysis in Vietnam to assess the dynamics of change and identify how coastal and marine ecosystem services support the livelihoods and well-being of human societies and particularly the rural and urban poor.
The project Ecosystem Services for Poverty Alleviation: Marine and Coastal Situation Analysis will identify the key challenges for research, current gaps in knowledge and capacity in order to inform the development of a research strategy to support the maintenance of ecosystem services explicitly for poverty alleviation.
The project will provide a timely, informed assessment of current state of knowledge in Vietnam and capacity on coastal and marine ecosystem services and related poverty alleviation to identify specific problems and issues, including key drivers of change and policy response options.
Research Assistants is as part of the project team to gather information, analyze collected data and information, prepare reports related to the project and assist the project team in delivering project outputs.
