PROJECT MANAGE FOR HEALTH PROJECT IN QUANG NINH

CARE in Vietnam is a Non-Government Organization representing the CARE International network. CARE in Vietnam is a creative and dynamic organization, working with Vietnamese partners in the sectors of health, rural development and disaster mitigation and preparedness.

CARE in Vietnam (CVN) is looking for an experienced and qualified Vietnamese national to fill the position of Project Manager within a project which aims to increase access to comprehensive care and support services for people living with HIV (PLHIV) and orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) through close partnerships with the Provincial Women’s Union and several civil society organizations.

Major responsibilities:

– Manage human resources related to project staff and partners;

– Build capacity of project staff and partners;

– Manage financial assets, including project budget and sub-grants;

– Manage the project cycle, i.e. project implementation, monitoring and evaluation;

– Ensure all agreements and activities are in line with contractual agreements and policies;

– Ensure the quality of partner and sub-grantee work through monthly meetings and regular site visits;

– Prepare and submit high-quality activity and financial reports to CVN and donor;

– Represent CVN as required

Selection criteria:

– At least 3 years experience in community-based projects with an international organization;

– At least 2 years experience working in the field of HIV;

– At least 1 year experience in a management position, with a supervisory role;

– Familiarity with and commitment to using participatory approaches;

– Proven professional experience in financial management;

– Proven professional experience in communication, facilitation and training;

– Ability to work effectively as a team member and with minimal supervision;

– IT skills (Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and e-mail applications);

– Excellent written and spoken English language skills;

– Willingness to be based in Quang Ninh, with frequent travel between districts

Desired:

– Graduate degree in the fields of health or social work

– Training in gender

– USAID/PEPFAR project management experience
