TERMS OF REFERENCE
Primate Program Coordinator
ENV is seeking a Vietnamese national to fill the full-time position of Primate Program Coordinator. Technical supervision of this position is provided by Conservation International’s regional primatologist.
Duties include conducting field surveys, threat assessments, and on-going monitoring of primates at a range of sites; playing a steadily increasing role in the annual primate conservation training course; and working with ENV to implement primate protection projects and promote primate species work across ENV’s programs. Up to 50% of the coordinator’s time will be spent in the field.
Required qualifications include a minimum of BA in biology (zoology) or forestry; field experience with wildlife, preferably primates; computer literacy in MS Office; and good spoken and written English. Remuneration will be based on experience. In addition, the employee will also receive a standard employment benefits package.
