JOB VACANCIES
World Vision Vietnam (WVV) invites competent Vietnamese candidates for the following positions:
1. PROJECT ASSISTANT ? Capacity Building cum Monitoring and Evaluation (1 position) working for the Area Development Program in Kim Dong district, Hung Yen province.
Area Development Program (ADP) is an approach to child focused development, emphasizing the process of community participation, sustainability, and integrating activities in the areas of food security, agriculture, micro-enterprise, health, nutrition, education, water, and sanitation.
Main Responsibilities:
To assist the ADP Manager to improve the quality of Leadership Development Project in Kim Dong ADP and to improve the quality of Design, Implementation, Monitoring, Evaluation (DIME) system of the ADP.
Requirements:
University/College graduate, preferably Community Development Management and/or Economics or related fields.
At least 1 year working experiences in community development.
Knowledge and work experience on Monitoring & Evaluation and management of information systems is preferred.
Good skills in training and capacity building.
Basic English skills with good reading skills.
Work at district level.
2. PROJECT ASSISTANT ? Sponsorship/Admin (2 positions) working for the Area Development Programs in Tua Chua district, Dien Bien province, and Quan Son district, Thanh Hoa province.
Main Responsibilities:
To assist the ADP Manager in planning, managing, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the project activities to achieve stipulated objectives.
Requirements:
University/College graduate, preferably in Community Development, Pedagogy or English.
At least 1-2 years relevant or community development working experience.
Basic English skills with good reading skills.
Work at district level.
3. MANAGER (1 position), working for the Mekong Delta Regional Trafficking Strategy II project (MDRTSII). Based in Hanoi.
Main Responsibilities:
To lead the Project Team to achieving the goal, outcomes, and outputs in the MDRTS II design document and logical framework.
Requirements:
University graduate in any field, preferably in the social sciences and/or community development.
Have at least 4 years relevant work experience including demonstrated capacity in program management.
Well-developed representation and negotiation skills.
Experience in managing and supervising staff, with strong liaison and interpersonal skills.
Well-developed writing and oral communications skills in both English and Vietnamese.
Willingness to travel regularly within Viet Nam and to other countries on an occasional basis.
Common requirements for all positions:
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
Good computer skills (word processing, excel).
World Vision Vietnam is a Christian non-government organization.
