Expressions of Interest
The Forest Protection Department/Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has received a grant from the Trust Fund for Forests (TFF) and its contributing donors (Finland, the Netherlands, Sweden and Switzerland), and intends to use part of the grant to procure the following consulting services under a technical assistance (TA contract package.
The TA Team reports to CBBC Project Office and provide services for the period of 3 years (2007 – 2010). The TA Team will include both national and international expertise. These services will include:
– Reviewing current training curricula (currently available in limited form and only for forest protection rangers);
– Defining needs for training of trainers at national level;
– Training of trainers and their phases in involvement into piloting of training and capacity building at Tam Dao National Park (NP) and another selected site and buffer zones (including both operationalising of inter-agency cooperation and task forces and specific capacity building of staff of Central and Provincial Forest Protection Departments).
– Translation of experiences into training manuals and improved curricula at the national level.
The CBBC Project Office now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (e.g.brochures, organizational CVs, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
