EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY: Local Consultants required for IEC, Planning and Technologies
As part of the Donors support to Vietnam’s Rural Water Supply and SanitationNational Target Programme II (RWSS NTPII), 3 short term local consultants are required to support the International and National Advisers in assisting the Standing Office (SO) to implement the RWSS NTPII.
Duties/Responsibilities:
IEC Consultant:
• Support and strengthen the SO in the field of IEC in accordance with their mandate and role in planning and oversight of the RWSS NTPII.
• Specific duties are specified in IEC ToR available from the Standing Office.
• Duration – 6 months over an 18 months period.
Planning Consultant:
• Support and strengthen the SO in the field of planning in accordance with their mandate and role in planning and oversight of the RWSS NTPII.
• Specific duties are specified in Planning ToR available from the Standing Office.
• Duration – 12 months over an 18 month period.
Technology Consultant:
• Support and strengthen the SO in the field of appropriate technology in accordance with their mandate and role in planning and oversight of the RWSS NTPII.
• Specific duties are specified in Technology ToR available from the Standing Office.
• Duration – 6 months over an 18 month period.
Qualifications:
• Relevant qualifications in for the position applied for;
• At least 5 – 10 years experience of public health and/or water supply and sanitation programmes.
• Experience in the field of the position applied for.
• Good communication and computer skills
• Good spoken and written English
Contract, Duration and Duty Station
Duration of the assignment is 6 – 12 months over an 18 month period and contract bythe Standing Office for RWSS-NTPII based on current EU Guidelines for staff employed on ODA projects. The duty station will be Hanoi, however frequent travel within Vietnam will be required.
